저자소개
대행스님
1927년 일제강점기에 태어났다. 어려서부터 ‘나는 누구인가?’‘나는 어디에서 왔는가?’하는 근본에 대한 의문을 참구하다 1950년 불문에 귀의하였다. 십여 년간의 산중 수행을 통해 불법(佛法)의 궁극적인 도리를 체득한 스님은 중생교화에 뜻을 두고 1972년 지금의 한마음선원을 세웠다. 스님의 가르침은 정신과 물질, 인간과 자연, 종교아 과학이 조화를 이루며 발전하는 새 시대의 길을 일러주고 있다. 불법은 지금 우리가 발 딛고 살아가는 이 땅에서 맛보고 꽃피울 수 있는 진리임을 알게 하고자 평생을 매진하셨던 스님은 2012년 5월 22일, 세납 88세, 법랍 63세로 안양 한마음선원 본원에서 입적하셨다.
